The Remote Mic Switch or PTT (push to talk) may be added as an accessory to the Helmet Comm. It allows for your choice of convenient placement of the "on/off" mic control, thus allowing you to operate your microphone without having to take you hands of your handlebar. Popular locations include on the glove, the wrist and even on the handle bars of your snowmobile, motorcycle, or ATV. (Note: a special port has to be placed in the Helmet Comm base to accommodate the plug of the Remote Mic Switch. Therefore, it is advised to order the Remote Mic Switch accessory at the time of purchasing your Helmet Comm.
